** Summary changed:

- use wrong path for at-spi-bus-launcher command
+ At-spi2-core package binaries are in a multi-arch location.

** Description changed:

+ Impact:
+ During the precise cycle, at-spi2 was converted to multi-arch packaging, however the at-spi2-core binaries were accidentally overlooked, and were packaged into a multi-arch location, even though the package they belong to is marked as multi-arch, foreign. Some Ubuntu specific software like unity-greeter and ubiquity look for at-spi2 binaries in /usr/lib/at-spi2-core. Due to some GTK/gnome-settings-daemon magic, at-spi2 still gets loaded and works, however it may be loading later than it should, possibly causing some applications not to work as well as they should.
+
+ Regression potential:
+ The chance of regression is extremely low to non-existant, as the .desktop file used to start at-spi2 is part of the at-spi2-core package, and will get updated to the correct location at rebuild time, and other Ubuntu software expects to find at-spi2-core binaries in teh above location anyway.
+
+ Test case:
+ Testing of the new at-spi2-core packages in precise-proposed needs to be done to make sure Ubuntu specific software like unity-greeter and ubiquity still works properly.
+
+ Original bug report follows.
+
Looking to the current precise greeter log I saw that warning:

WARNING **: unity-greeter.vala:806: Error starting the at-spi registry
  ... " /usr/lib/at-spi2-core/at-spi-bus-launcher: no such file or
  directory"

Indeed at-spi got multiarched and the directory is
  /usr/lib/$(targetarch)/....

Not sure how much the spawning of at-spi-bus-launcher is needed for a11y
  to work though
