Thank you for raising this, and for your detailed assessment.
We discussed this at the technical board meeting yesterday. We'd like to
hear the Ubuntu Security Team's opinion on this please; we have little
reason to think that we'd want to decide something different from them.
Could the Ubuntu Security team please take a look into this and provide
