Any of you see all of the negative brouhaha over Linus Torvalds saying
he liked the Nexus One?
WTF! If Steve Jobs said he liked the Jitterbug that cell company
would suddenly get lavished with praise and touted as the Cure for
Cancer, World Hunger, and the Recession by the mainstream media.
Incidentally, I've been toying with the x86 version of Android. Been
running it in VirtualBox. I think the x86 version is lagging behind
or something because its OK but not great. Its nothing like the
Android OS I saw on a phone (forget which one) at a store recently.
I've used the iPod Touch and I have to say that Android phone even
without the multi-touch enabled yet was still pretty nice.
Haven't looked at a Symbian phone yet. I'm wondering if there will be
an x86 version. Probably will be now that its open source.
