Intrepid KDE problems (was Community V. Community)

You must.  I installed Kubuntu 8.10.  I even liked it.  But it's _missing_
many things that we've come to know and love in KDE3.  Some of them deal
stoppers.  I use dual monitors.  I haven't been able to do that in
Intrepid.
