Heh, I had a go at helping and soon I did not have time to do my own 
work. Nothing like experience to teach you.

All in all, it is kudos to those who do try to provide support on the 
ubuntu support channels.


Now if we could just get a system administrators' list where we don't 
have to see issues with sound, microphones and what not...
