Binary deltas in apt-get?

I just saw that Fedora 11's yum can use binary deltas for updating software. 
That's a bloody brilliant idea. I have been relying on similar tricks in rsync 
but never thought it could apply to updates. Do apt/aptitude incorporate this 
anywhere?
