A lot of folks from beyond the US shores tend to have a somewhat
suspect view of the local population, thinking that we somehow have
something to do with the way our gov'ment does things worldwide.
Of course, nothing could be further from the truth and most of us that
can actually think for ourselves are somewhat ashamed and apologetic
for the recent administration, at least.

Hopefully the new guy will do a little better (sure, he will).
