Arf, IIRC Dapper had loads of positive reviews at its launch, now it's
the other way around, we can't have it all  ! ;-) At least we have an
excuse, because of the shortened development cycle, so let's just get
over it, and work hard on Feisty to induce like Dapper, positive
reviews again :-)

I have to admit I too wasn't so positive about Edgy, during the
development cycle. For example, until the very last day, Firefox (hence
also Epiphany and yelp) had ugly fonts, a little bold and blurry. That
was a show stopper for me, as I spend, like many other, a lot of time
reading stuff on the internet.
But I installed Edgy anyway when it got released (clean install from the
"alternate" CD, since I had bad experiences with the graphical
installer...), thinking well, I can always re-install Dapper if need
be...and oh miracle, the fonts are nice again, like in Dapper !!
PHEW !!! :o)

So I think I was scared at first that I may have for the first time to
skip a release, but I insisted and installed it anyway, and now I am
glad, and enjoy all the little details improved here and there...

... and I am looking forward to Feisty already, hoping for more good
stuff and improved polish.
