Just for the record: GPL (in its current form) is quite useless when
it comes to web applications; anyone can take a GPL-ed app, modify it
and expose to the outer world without providing the source changes, as
exposing a webservice is not considered ‘distributing binaries’. That’s
why there’s AGPL (sadly, it’s not GPL-compatible until GPLv3 shows up):
