Why is this a concern? What is wrong with Ubuntu running on more
platforms *if* it is feasible and beneficial to do so without
inhibiting its rate of improvement and its release cycle. As mdz
stated the SPARC port has been around a while and can certainly help
increase adoption of Ubuntu, a prime example of a benefit for
supporting additional architectures (that we are able to support). I
am not saying we can or should support everything, just platforms that
are worth supporting. I am simply wondering why you see this as an
area of concern.
