making Ubuntu easy

Speaking of the desktop guide, it just dawned on me that giving it more
prominence after the initial install (desktop Icon perhaps?) would be a
grand idea.

I forget it's around half the time.  I've wound up looking at it on the
website when I could have just looked at it on my computer to begin
with.  I see the little help icon, but i think of it in terms of
application/OS help and not a 'step-by-step/howto' kind of thing.
