They have one enormous incentive to support mp3, the deep dark one nobody 
speaks of. Apple have made a device very useful for those who download music, 
because almost all of it comes in the mp3 format. That is the simple truth. 
It is part of what makes the ipod popular. They would never jeopardise that.
