I disagree.  You make me reinstall *ubuntu-desktop, first, which does NOT do
a proper upgrade to my system - forcing me to uninstall many apps I've
already uninstalled once before.  Besides which, such an upgrade path
doesn't actually exist if you uninstalled *ubuntu-desktop, as is clearly
permitted in the package definition, back in the early Breezy days.
