On the subject of naming the Dapper successor

Ok, we're off topic here so I won't press it further than this, but:

a) Donald Duck is a product based on comedy and fun for young people.
His marketing department is not focusing on bringing him to the
workplace.
b) In any case, there is nothing silly about the name Donald. He is
called "Donald Duck", because he is, in fact, a Duck.

I think John's point was that in order for Ubuntu to attract a
professional market, a more serious codename may help. I take Hidde's
point though that the codename sets Ubuntu apart, and I agree that in
some markets, that will be a positive factor, rather than a negative
factor. But there are other markets where that won't be true, I think.
