Here in Belgium small independent supermarkets are under a significant
pricing pressure from supermarket chains (Aldi, Carrefour group, etc.)
and one of the things they do to try to survive is buying through a
(non-profit) cooperative, so that they can get lower prices from the
manufacturers too.

So what about a cooperative purchase organisation for e.g. European
resellers of linux laptops & desktops?   :-)
