It's up to Mark to ask Jeff to be added to planet.u.c.  I believe Jeff
only add blogs when requested by the blog author.

Very interest few entries in that blog.  Especially the entry  titled
"Funding free software projects" from November 21st, 2003.   While it
is not about Ubuntu directly, you can see in the there some of the
concepts that were applied to start Ubuntu a few months later in 2004:
the need for clear leadership to move a project ahead; the need to
have the development activities of the project done online so  that it
is open to outsiders; the need to have outsiders to participate, to
experiment and sometimes to bring features in from unexpected
directions into the project.   Very very interesting to read 2.5 years
late about things that, in my opinion, are keys to the success of the
Ubuntu project and its community.
