I don't think Skype allows redistribution... I could be wrong.

Out of curiosity, I installed it. It says that it is a "trial version"
that has to be "upgraded". I assume this means it is "time-bombed" to stop
after he trial period.

It lasted about 5 minutes on this box before I issued

sudo apt-get remove --purge desktopsecure

then

sudo rm -rf /opt/panda

It does the "Zone Alarm" thing of warning you when an app connects to the
network ( for instance every time ntpdate tried to connect to the ntp time
servers, it popped up a warning)
