Acer Aspire 3003WLWi

This laptop has just popped up in a Big W catalog (Big W is a general 
low-end department store, akin to Kmart), not a vendor of much at all in 
the way of computers, but it is fairly cheap and it does have 60 Gb, 512 
Mb, a Sempron 3000+, a DL DVD burner - what more could one want? Well, 
not tooth and no firewire, but I can probably survive without those.

My daughter recently bought a similarly-specced Compaq for $1000 more.

Neither Google not Acer in Oz knowa about it. Does anyone here? If the 
wireless works with Linux I'd be sorely tempted to buy one.
