We reference the version number in our most public information too, so given
that they're not offensive, and they're pretty entertaining when you get
into the Ubuntu mood, it's not really a problem.

Seriously - I've spoken to CTO-level government bureaucrats about Ubuntu,
referring to only the version number, and then explained the codenames as
soon as they've asked... It's never been a problem.
