VMWare Player?

It's pretty easy to do - even with qemu. :-) Note that VMware themselves are
already shipping an Ubuntu image, albeit a cute cut-down "Browser Appliance"
install. Very cool.

(Most of the VMware engineers use Ubuntu.)
