Hi Tommy,
take the drive out of the bad machine and put it in the good machine :)
The (N)(T) (F)ile(S)ystem, the filesystem normally used under Windows XP. 
To automatically mount your NTFS partition/s, you can use this utility: 
http://www.ubuntulinux.nl/files/winmac_fstab . It handles HFS+, NTFS and 
FAT32 partitions.
Now read and copy on the local computer.
