Your wife is not a simple user, because she has a system administrator.
Simple users don't get to roll over and poke a sysadmin in the arm when
they have a question; they have to look through documentation they
probably threw away to find an 800 number (if they're lucky and it's not
a 900 number), and then sit on hold waiting for some earnest but
inexperienced young kid in Bangalore to work his way through the
script that hopefully gets to her answer.
