A bit late on the ball here, but the accompanying leaflet idea is
something I keep meaning to bring up.

We received a shipment of CDs at work lately .. a small independent
coffee house / net-cafe in the back end of nowhere. As far as we can
tell (and from the wording of the cover letter), these were shipped 'on
spec', rather than being requested. Which, despite my usual misgivings
against mail-shotting, does seem to be a well targeted approach to
making the most out of any left over Warty CDs (I assume that was the
idea, they arrived a week or so after Hoary released).

The problem as it stands, is that this is a very small business ..
literally a "mom and pop" show with 4-5 employees. It can only be
chance that one of us was in a position to explain the what's, why's and
how's of these random CDs, else we would be unable to explain to anyone
what we were offering them.

A little more literature for both staff and customers would go a long
way. Even if something is free, it's still a tough "sell" if you've no
idea what it is.
