I mostly use lynx like this:
summer at Dolphin:~$ time lynx -dump http://www.x.com/ | tail
   30. http://www.ebay.com/
   31. http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr
   32. http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/fdic-outside
   33. http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/gen/privacy-outside
   34. http://www.bbbonline.org/cks.asp?id=20111061155818568

    Hidden links:
   35. http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_auction-outside
   36. http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_merchant-outside
   37. http://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_shop-ext

real 0m25.605s
user 0m0.124s
sys 0m0.032s
summer at Dolphin:~$
I've not found another way of getting those links.

fwiw if you don't want the frames (and I don't in scripts) then lynx is
faster.
