Sounder CD 6

Sounder CD 6 is ready:

instructions. I recommend rsync if possible, as you can then download
future images based on this one to save bandwidth.

For those at the Canonical conference, please don't download images over
the Internet link, but instead get them from Mark's laptop:

Alternatively, come and find me and I'll burn you a CD.

This release fixes a number of installer bugs and adds new features:

  * The large volume of spurious scrollkeeper errors during Desktop
    installation are now suppressed.

  * Resizing partitions should now work.

  * Ubuntu branding work is believed to be complete. Please report
    errors in translations, which have been updated on a best-effort
    basis by Tollef Fog Heen and myself.

  * A simple custom installation mode has been implemented; boot with
    'custom' and the CD will only install Base, not Desktop.

  * The CD is no longer ejected before reboot on Macintosh systems.

  * scrollkeeper-update runs are deferred until the very end of the
    installation.

Warty now includes GNOME 2.8 beta 2, plus a host of other updates. There
have been a number of updates to the default desktop, so if you're
upgrading you may want to try with a freshly created user account.
