hi,
I have put some more spare time work into creating an actual stable
image from yesterdays snappy release so you can enjoy the stable channel
on your Pi as well ...
Since the Pi is not officially supported, you will have to re-flash the
new image to use it (there is no upgrade path for devices not officially
on the system-image server currently). Also, since I might not always be
the Pi-Guy the platform team was so kind to offer me some space on the
people.canonical.com server so it the image is hosted in a less
personalized place, you can now download it from:
http://people.canonical.com/~platform/snappy/raspberrypi2/
I expect this URL to persist for a while and updated images should be
made available in that place ... I will do a round trip through the
snappy documentation tomorrow and fix all URLs in there to point to the
new place ...
The image includes webdm and has ssh access as ubuntu/ubuntu enabled so
you can start right away after flashing it to SD card and find it under
the webdm.local address as usual.
Now you have no more excuse to not create exciting snaps for your RPi,
just go and do it !
ciao
oli
