if you refer to the added directories that the s-i server creates, I
moved their creation to livecd-rootfs recently. 
the filesystem should now be consumable by u-d-f directly for
ubuntu-core (potentially after re-compressing, since cdimage produces
gzipped images, i'm not sure u-d-f can handle that OOTB)

for touch there is an additional initramfs change pending since it also
needs some android dirs created which i moved into the touch initrd
script.

(note this is wily only currently)
