This is one of these projects that quickly develop a life of their own
and turn from "meh, i need a hack to improve this" to "oh, this is
shiny, let's make it a polished tool".
I know about pittis work indeed, but it hasn't struck me to offer it to
him for inclusion yet, we'll talk on monday ;)
