so i guess it is time to look at your kernel config, i cant really find
anything wrong in your userspace ... 

can you pastebin the config used to build this kernel somewhere ...

dbus needs for example:

CONFIG_SYSVIPC=y
CONFIG_SYSVIPC_SYSCTL=y

paolo from the ubuntu kernel team has also collected some config options
at: http://people.canonical.com/~ppisati/snappy_config/

we should check that your kernel has them set ...
