Frameworks snaps?

Hello everybody,

at UOS we had an interesting session about frameworks [1]. One of the
work items was to look into adding more examples to the documentation to
illustrate what a framework is and what isn't. I filed a bug [2] for this.

Since there has been a lot of talk about the definition of frameworks
and needed frameworks recently, I've been wondering about the following
questions:

 - Who of you is currently thinking about implementing something
   in a framework snap? What kind of framework is it going to be?
 - Have you tried to implement something in a framework? How did
   you fare?
 - Is there functionality missing for which you'd like to see a
   framework?
 - Do you have questions about frameworks?

Getting feedback on the above questions would be great, as it could be a
conversation starter and help fixing [2] among other things. :-)
