The translation is only open until 12th of this month (a week and a day),
so basically now it's the time to translate, even though there have been
some problems, mainly that not all strings are still translatable
especially in debian-installer. But those that are translatable, should be
translated now.

Actually, "non language-pack translations" (ie. debian-installer,
ubuntu-docs) are already due to be done tomorrow, or in case of
ubuntu-docs apparently Friday/Saturday. See latest discussions on
https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-translators/.

When you open up the translations, after selecting your language at
https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/feisty/ , I'd recommend you to
check that most of the translations on the first page would be up to 100%,
depending a bit if you focus on just Gnome-specific translations or also
KDE and XFCE. Towards the end of the page, there are a lot of ubuntu
documentation related translation, they are of course important as such
but probably too much of a work for limited resources when compared to
user interface translations above those. "about-ubuntu" could be nice to
translate, anyway.

Hope this helps,
