`&' sign in ooo-common

Another question: are the `&' signs in ooo-common to be ignored in  
translations in the same way that `~' are thrown out in ooo-writer?  
They look like they're for keyboard shortcut keys, which I believe  
are generated automatically at compile time for localised versions of  
OOo, but I just wanted to check.

Examples from ooo-common:

> 139:  &Install
> 160:  < &Back
