kubuntu translations on rosetta

Hello,

will it be possible in the near future to have Kubuntu (KDE) translations on 
Rosetta? I dialogued about it with Jonathan Rindell once, and he said there 
are some technical issues to be solved in Rosetta before this is an option, 
since KDE uses a forked gettext...

Will those issues be solved in the near future? It would really help 
Kubuntu...
