The only way we have atm to mark the translations as accepted by
upstream is doing the .po upload. You, as maintainer, can do just one
upload with all .po files from the .pot upload form.

Please, would you file a bug report about this new option so we add it
available only to maintainers?

No, that's to add a new release of your package not related with
translations.
