Hi,

We are focusing on Ubuntu translations atm, and soon, we will have all
Ubuntu packages imported into Rosetta (included GNOME packages). Most of
the strings are the same from upstream so I suppose you could translate
those ones. About how to import the .po files, as soon as the Ubuntu
packages are imported into Rosetta, from the translation form, you have
a link to see details about your language for that package and then
another link to upload a .po file. Those links are going to change to
fit better Ubuntu translations so will tell you the exact link as soon
as the new Rosetta lands.

Next 6 months we will improve also the upstream translations from
Rosetta but our priority at the moment is Ubuntu Hoary that is going to
be released in a month.

Cheers and welcomed.
