Rosetta modifies PO files, which are standard gettext files.  You could 
download the current PO file for the language you are working on and 
edit it by hand, or in another tool (like kbabel -- 
http://i18n.kde.org/tools/kbabel/), and then upload the modified PO back 
to Rosetta.
