How to translate Rosetta/Launchpad itself?

Hi all.

Assuming I'm going to transfer my OpenOffice.org translation team to  
Rosetta/Launchpad, I'd like to make it easier by translating the  
interface that we're going to use. However, when I look at
https://launchpad.net/products/launchpad/+translations
it appears that although the provision is there to use Launchpad to  
translate Launchpad, there's some problem at the moment, because no  
strings are offered for translation.

Is this something I'm going to be able to do soon?

Again, feel free to reply to my question with just a URL to where it  
has already been answered if this is the case, but I couldn't find  
the answer in the archives of this list.
