That's what open source is all about.
I'm a bit unhappy about the closed-ness of Launchpad myself, but as long
as they don't try to monopolize the content and agree that they'll
open it up sometime in the future, that's good enough for me.
(Personally, if I would pump my money into something that big,
I'd wait for GPLv3, for reasons that are off-topic for this list.)
