To make upgrades work well, you can provide a package called "glance". It will depend on both glance-api and glance-registry.

Then, make sure both glance-api and glange-registry say something like:

Replaces: glance (<< 2012.1~e1~20110919.1021-0ubuntu2)

Otherwise, dpkg will (correctly) complain that glance-registry and glance-api have files that conflict with (the currently installed) glance package.

This should make the upgrade smooth.
