Certainly. I've worked with Stéphane here-and-there for quite some
time now (Edgy-Feisty or so). I helped him get into packaging when he
wanted to get his pastebinit program (for which he was upstream) into
Universe. He did an exceptional job with that, IMO. More importantly,
Stéphane is now taking on maintainership of LTSP in Ubuntu. This is a
pretty daunting task and one that is very important to Edubuntu and
corporate Ubuntu users. Oliver can speak more on that as I haven't
sponsored those uploads myself. However, I have seen some very
positive results in my bugmail as Stéphane has been tackling bugs and
already acting as a pretty responsible and responsive maintainer.

Stéphane is also an important part of the Ubuntu QA team, having
developed the ISO tracker and maintaining qa.ubuntu.com . He's seen a
lot of QA activity, which I think is valuable for MOTUs, and
participated a lot in both Edubuntu and Ubuntu QA discussions.

Stéphane has shown me technical competence and community awareness. I
think he's a valuable asset to Ubuntu, would make a fine MOTU, and
look forward to working with him in the future.
