Having been David's mentor, I worked very close with him, and I am very
satisfied with his work. His debdiffs were often ready to be uploaded
without significant changes, and his coding skills are an additional
bonus. 

David has a strong commitement to Ubuntu packaging, is always eager to
learn, and his interest in QA activities is remarkable.

Since he worked well through more than a whole release cycle, I am
convinced that he understands our freeze policies and acts accordingly.

I really hope David will be accepted into the MOTU team, I am sure he
will be a great addition.
