Good Evening fellow MOTUs,
I had the opportunity to work with Emanuele since he started to work on
Ubuntu.
He is very enthusiastic about security and and the resulting -security
packages. I worked with him for quite some time, and I was very
satisfied with what I saw from him.
Yes, a few glitches, but nobody is perfect.
For Intrepid I was sponsoring some packages for him, and was also very
satisfied, so I can agree here very much with Luca.
Emanuele is a funny person and very committed. Sometimes he could need
some Valerian, but the inner peace comes with age ;)
Anyways, regarding security work, I just watched over the packages, but
the final word, as always, had Kees or JD...so I think it's better to
read their judgement regarding -security work.
Regarding Merges I'll see Emanuele a good catch for MOTU, and I would
like to see his MOTU-Badge soon.
Well Done Emanuele,
Regards,
Stephan aka \sh
