I would like to support Steve's application. A +1 from me too.

Steve does great work with helping out in the MOTU team and creates great
packages (most problems I've found were only small details). I have mostly
assisted him with his packaging questions and reviewed packages like
kdiamond-kde4. However I'm happy with supporting his application and I believe
the Debian contributions are really good work too.
