Wed Jan 30 10:44:24 GMT 2008
Agenda Items:
* All MC members pointed out they're really happy to meet their
new MC colleagues in ~14 hours. :-)
* Michael Bienia asked for clarification of the process of
"skipping MOTU" (directly applying for core-dev). Daniel Holbach
explained that it was up to the MC to decide if the applicant is
core-dev material and to speak out the recommendation based on
that, but also volunteered to ask the TB if a clarification of
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopers is necessary.
* Outstanding applications: Tim Gardner (core-dev).
* MOTU UVF team. Daniel Holbach informed the MC that Scott
Kitterman, Cesare Tirabassi, Luke Yelavich, Stefan Potyra and
Sarah Hobbs nominated themselves and volunteered to set up the
polls ASAP.
* Uncertainty about Marco Rodrigues' areas of involvement. Daniel
Holbach informed the MC about the ban situation that arose on
#ubuntu-devel last Friday (mentioned in [1] and [2]) and
expressed his discontent with it. At the same time everybody in
the call expressed their worry about the fact that a
clarification about the Marco's involvement still seems
necessary. Expect more discussion on the mailing lists and with
the new MC members.
* Attendees: Daniel Holbach, Michael Bienia, Søren Hansen.
* Call duration: 12 minutes.
