The MC can, of course, do as they will, but I'd like to suggest that 
contributions to unrelated 3rd party repositories is not a great idea.  I 
think decisions should be based on contributions to Ubuntu.  Since we are 
downstream of Debian, contributions to Debian are contributions to Ubuntu.
