James joined us at a critical point. The xrandr capplet was introduced
fairly late in the development cycle and as James mentioned when
received it from upstream it hadn't received much QA, so we had a huge
number of bugs to solve and a very tight schedule to solve them in.
I hadn't worked with James before, and was worried about the old adage
"Adding heads to a late project makes it later," however James came up
to speed very quickly and squared away all the remaining known bugs,
helped me get all the patches pushed upstream, and let us deliver the
tool stable and on time.
I think James will be an excellent Ubuntu Universe Contributor.
