MOTU Application

Hello MOTU Council members, and my generous sponsors!

I have been active in MOTU work since the early part of the Feisty
development cycle, and at the urging of the Sydney MOTUs would like to
be considered for MOTU.

I've now been through a full development cycle, and I'm confident that I
know the right procedures and when to ask for help.

I'm the Debian Specto maintainer (and part of the upstream development
team) and I pretty much maintain democracyplayer (now Miro) in Universe.
I'm interested in desktop eyecandy, python, and mono, and as a MOTU I
hope to maintain our xserver-xgl packages.

Additionally, I've been active in #ubuntu-motu helping with packaging
related questions and first-pass reviewing of packages on REVU.  As a
MOTU I intend to continue and expand my involvement in this aspect of
Ubuntu development.
