[lubuntu-users] Bug or user error when trying to connect to tty serial

I remember to face a very similar problem... I was able to work with Putty
on Lubuntu 11.10, but could not do it on newer version of Lubuntu...

But this is not something I do constantly, so I can't tell you nothing
about 14.04 and also 16.04
