New to linux and lubuntu, with STEAM install problem

I am having a problem installing, I think due to an install of flashplayer
I attempted yesterday. I get the following screen

and the terminal appears to be stuck there. How do I get it to proceed? I
have tried Enter, Ok and Enter, Esc. If I close the terminal window, it
leaves the lock file open. As you can see, I'm a real newbee to this whole
Linux thing.
