Folks:

Yesterday I checked my PPC iBook running 14.04 Lu for "update/upgrade" and
nothing showed about "xserver-xorg-video-intel."

Today, logged into my LM17 MATE system on my MBPro, i.e. Intel processor,
and ran "upgrade" . . . and, surprisingly, in the list was
"xserver-xorg-video-intel" . . . . So I ran a couple of the "lspci -vvnn .
. . etc" and even just "sudo lspci" . . . a fair amount of data showed up,
which I don't really understand, for the most part "kernel driver in use":
nForce2_smbus . . . and "serr-FastB2B-DsINTx-nvidia" . . . were showing
up. In just "lspci" . . . it all showed "Nvidia" in just about all the
lines.

Would it be safe to assume that doing this upgrade would probably ***not***
lunch my system? Or, "man up" go for broke so to speak . . . and see how
it turns out?
